Active Hertfordshire Karate

We specialise in Shotokan Karate, new students ages 5 to 65 can join us every week. We pride ourselves on having opened our first club in 1984 and have continued to grow steadily since that time.

Our Instructors started as beginners, just as you will when joining our group, so we understand the dedication and patience required to develop and succeed. All have completed, or are currently completing, our Active Hertfordshire Karate Instructor Programme and hold current CRB Enhanced Disclosure. Fully insured, some hold First Aid Qualifications and have gone on to open their own clubs, choosing to remain under the Active Hertfordshire Karate quality brand.
